My Story

I am part of the 1 in 80 women to have gone through the pain, emotionally and physically, of an ectopic pregnancy. My first pregnancy. I was rushed to theatre as my tube had ruptured and I was bleeding internally. I had keyhole surgery to remove my left tube that unfortunately came with some complications. Recovery was hard, painful, confusing and a very lonely place. I found strength, courage and determination to raise awareness and vital funds for The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust. So in August 2025 when I was just 13 weeks post operation I hiked Mount Snowden and raised £320 for them.

This time I am pushing myself even more by taking on the Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge! A trek of 24 miles, hiking up 3 mountains, in 12 hours!

EPT is a community I found some peace and support in. Raising money for a charity so close to my heart gets me up, out in nature, it gives me focus and purpose and to be able to raise awareness and funds for EPT. A charity that receives no government funding but dedicates so much time & support helping women and families going through an awful experience in their lives.

Thank you for reading & if you can please donate no matter how little it all really does make such a big difference!! If you can't, then please share the link as much as possible!

''Today I went to see you but you were not inside

Doctors say you didn’t make it to the womb that you’ve got stuck along your way

I’m sorry little baby I don’t want to say goodbye.

The doctors had to do it just in case I die

Oh my heart is broken there’s no more left inside.

I don’t know why you weren’t meant for this earth.

Now every day all I can do is cry.

I’m in pain because I miss you and for what could have been

Sleep tight, my Baby Bhakar until we meet again''
